This weekend....... Wardrobe Organisation

As followers of this blog are aware, I am currently living through a large house extension, and have taken a more relaxed approach to organising the house as a result - I think I would go slightly mad trying to keep everything on tip top form while the builders were working in EVERY room of the house!!!

However - my inner organiser can't resist a little bit of organising in my downtime - so - armed with a glass of wine and my favourite music playing, I set about sorting out my wardrobe. How much better do I now feel just to get a little area of my home back to its organised state!!

Well - using all the tips on my WEBSITE PAGE - I set about doing everything, and boy does it work. I particularly like the method of trying on all the clothes as I go (I haven't got that many so this was possible!) - as it showed me that I have actually changed shape slightly, and items that I had thought didn't fit anymore actually fit perfectly! - I would really recommend keeping on top of your wardrobe, so that you only open the doors to a variety of clothes that you love and that fit you - it will make you feel so great to think that you can wear anything you see!

I have also sorted my clothes into type of clothing, and colour - so I can easily see what block trousers I have, what skirts, what colour tops I need to buy in a future shopping trip etc...... - It makes finding outfits really easy.

Lastly - the best tip I can give is to get some good hangers - and have all the same type and style - as this will not only work better for you, but also be more aesthetically pleasing. I really recommend these from amazon - and have used them without looking back! - they are narrow so make the best use of the space in your wardrobe, they look great, and the texture ensures that items don't slip off them.
